2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Therefore this 'antichrist' is going to be full of himself, and satan will encourage him to delude himself that he is 'God' - or 'as God'. Running people's lives, and believing that the government that he has set up, and which he is the head, should be the focus of man's worship...
So in short, the 'antichrist' will be so-self deluded that he won't believe that God IS - and we are all HIS subjects, and therefore the antichrist won't recognize they he is the antichrist.

THE IS SOOO RIGHT, I HAVE THOUGHT THE SAME THING!
1.He is Jewish (a characteristic of the False Prophet).
2. He is from "the land". In my opinion maybe to mean the land of Israel. He was born in Illinois, I believe, but his parents my be exiles from Israel. I found this: Rahm Emanuel is a Jew in exile in America, the son of Israeli Jews in exile, living in these United States -Artzot Habrit ("Lands of the Covenant" in Hebrew) - the Promised Land of Menashe ben Yosef.
3. His family name is really Auerbach so Emanuel (to mean the ultimate fulfillment of such prophecy as "God with us" or "Immanuel.") is false - hence "false prophet" again.
I'm NOT saying or suggesting he is the False Prophet. I'm just saying there are some interesting things as mentioned in prophecy that they both seem to have in common.
The author is/was obviously biased as well is seems.

I was thinking about this. The bible mentions a “Head Wound” as one of the things about the Antichrist.
This means something that is a mortal wound, that will stop you in your tracks, that will make normal progress impossible.
Could it be the fact that legally he is ineligible to serve?
Certainly that would have been a mortal wound for most presidential campaigns.
I believe it is written he will have 10 horns on seven heads and ONE of the heads will receive a wound that he amazingly recovers from.

I'm beginning to believe that may be it. Nostradamus only mentions that "Mabas soon dies". Most people assumed that this was the name of the Antichrist when in fact Mabas may be an associate - all wild speculation of course. ;-)

Regarding the 10 horns:

Seven heads? 10 horns plus 7 heads = 17 cabinet members (thinking outloud)?
