Little c 'catholic' is universal. Big C "Catholic" means either Roman and some Eastern Rite Catholic churches, and is universally assumed to mean 'in communion with Rome'.

If this church is using big c "Catholic" in their title, they're engaging in false advertising.

From what I can gather they don’t use Catholic Churches - they’re given the use of Protestant Churches for their “services” - though I’m pretty sure it goes on in a few Catholic dioceses.

Okay, I hear that, but then why do they then refer to themselves as Catholic, if denomination doesn't matter?

Lol, rhetorical, but just in case one of their flock is reading... ;-) Aaah, there's the rub, they really do want to be thought of as Catholic, as a 'new' kind of Catholic, according to their new vision of what they want it to be. Doesn't make it so, but they'd like to lead people to believe it does, sadly.
