This is a very broad statement that is not true.
The Catholic Church evangelized the West, gave it the university system, sponsored science, preserved the cultural bridge to antiquity, and produced the greatest art known to man. Take away the Catholic root and what you are left with is unmitigated barbarity.

What is haughty is that you assume that only Israel itself loves Israel! The Christian community (the true community) loves Israel and without it Israel would have ceased to exist long ago.
Don't forget that the American Jewish voters overwhelmingly supported Obama (and he will betray Israel)...while American Christians (except for African American Christian, God bless them) overwhelmingly supported McCain and Israel.
Israel's American support is hanging by a thin thread...and that thread is American Christians!
