North Korean Rocket Launch prompted posting this.

Note that "Chernobyl" in the Ukrainian Language means "wormwood". In the book of Revelation, there is an angel of "Wormwood".

Here is the passage from the book of Revelation about the Angel and the "star" called wormwood.

Rev 8:10-11

10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water--

11 the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.

(NIV)

The following are some additional tidbits about this:

1. The North Korean Rocket overflew the Akita Prefecture in Japan.
2. Our Lady of Akita is also known as "Our Lady of All Nations"
3. Pope Benedict was involved in the approval of the messages and investigation into the verification of the "investigation of the statue"
4. One aspect of the message is for people to embrace "poverty" and pray... (Current economic conditions and direction?)

I will also post an image of both the statue and the painting of Our Lady of All Nations.

North Korean Rocket launch prompted posting this.

Note that supernatural events in Akita started in 1973. What else started in 1973? Try the Supreme Court Decision "Roe vs. Wade" in January 1973.

There are also apparitions in South Korea where the message was a warning about abortion.

The message of Our Lady of Akita has been approved -- one of the persons involved in the approval was then Cardinal Ratzinger (current Pope or "Papa").

Finally, THE NOTRE DAME SCANDAL is currently going on.

Prayer of Our Lady of All Nations:

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Father,
send now your Spirit over the earth.
Let the Holy Spirit live in the hearts of all nations --
that they may be preserved from
degeneration, disaster and war.
May the Lady of All Nations,
who once was Mary, be our Advocate.
Amen.

Note that the apparitions of Our Lady of All Nations began in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on March 25th, 1945. For that particular year, it was Palm Sunday.

The messages of Predicted (among other things) Vatican II.

Now we have a Pope ("Papa") who is trying to fix problems created by Vatican II.

I believe you are mistaken about the appellation “Our Lady of All Nations.” That was an apparition in the Netherlands in the 1940s and 1950s to a woman named Ida Peerdeman. The painting you have posted at #3 is that of this apparition. The inscription at the top of the picture says “The Lady of All Nations” in Dutch.

Here are a couple of websites concerning this apparition:

I would be careful with this apparition.
“Since 1973, when the events began, eleven years have passed. As that was the first time I was a witness of the rather extraordinary events, I went to Rome to the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in 1975 where I consulted Archbishop Hamer, deputy secretary of this Congregation, and whom I already knew. He explained to me that judgment regarding such a matter falls under the jurisdiction of the local Ordinary (bishop) of the diocese in question.

In 1976, I asked the archbishop of Tokyo for the creation of a commission of inquiry. This first commission declared that it was not in a position to prove the supernatural events of Akita. In 1979, I presented to the Congregation a request for the formation of a second commission of inquiry. This second commission permitted us to examine the facts still more in detail.

In 1981, a letter of the Congregation, unfavorable to the events, was sent to the nunciature in Tokyo. But this letter contained some misunderstandings. Esteeming it my duty to restore the exactitude of the facts, I re-examined all the facts in 1982 at the time that the mysterious events, seemingly, came to an end. Through the intermediary of the Apostolic Nuncio in Tokyo, I sent the complete dossier, augmented with the new facts, to Rome.

At the time of my trip to Rome in the month of October last year (1983) I was able to meet with three officials charged with the matter in the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. At the end of this meeting we had decided that the dossier should remain under examination.”
Pastoral Letter of Bishop John Shojiro Ito April 22, 1984

I don't know if you were ever a part of the APAR-L. There were discussions of this and other events.

There was scientific investigation into the tears and the blood of the statue. The blood and tears were found to be human -- by Japanese scientific investigation.

What I posted is misleading. However, if you look at the statue of Our Lady of Akita and compare it to Our Lady of All Nations (Amsterdam), you will a resemblance...

Full blown picture of "statue" of Our Lady of Akita...

The story behind the creation of the statue for Akita is that it was done by a Buddhist artist...

You posted:

I would be careful with this apparition.[Our Lady of Akita implied]

From the EWTN site (last line):

June, 1988—Vatican City—Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, Prefect, Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, gives definitive judgement on the Akita events and messages as reliable and worthy of belief.

Are you implying we should consider the work of Cardinal Ratzinger (now Pope Benedict) to be credible in this regard.

In terms of Our Lady of Fatima, there were various "supernatural" events to help promote the message.

In terms of Our Lady of Akita, the events have been proven to be supernatural and worthy of belief. The message may be considered private revelation.

Admittedly, tying Our Lady of Akita too closely with the title of Our Lady of All Nations is a mistake. It is just that the statue of Our Lady of Akita so closely resembles the painting of Our Lady of All Nations (Amsterdam).

Sorry about that.

But I believe the messages of both should be considered -- especially with current world events as they have occurred.

The North Korean missile went over (past) Hawaii before the "warhead" crashed into the Pacific Ocean.

Iranian Scientists worked jointed with North Korea on this. Additionally, there are reports of China's involvement in this...

Back when the Internet had "newsgroups" (before FreeRepublic.com), APAR-L was a "newsgroup" that had discussion on Apparitions or "alleged aparitions".

For example, Our Lady of E.D.S.A. was discussed when it was happening. But it did not have that title.

There is nothing proven about Our Lady of E.D.S.A. (Manilla, Philippines), except for the fact that the corrupt government of the Philippines was overthrown twice by events at E.D.S.A.

One true event was that the soldiers in the army tanks abandoned their tanks and prayed with the people.

There were claims that the soldiers saw "Mary" (unproven).

But there are "good fruits" of "Our Lady of E.S.D.A."

They built a church (shrine) on the spot "the miracle" occurred.

It is "Our Lady of EDSA Shrine" -- A Roman Catholic Church.

A priest from the Philipines explained it to me when I tried to call it "Our Lady of Manilla" (Wrong!)

Google search on "Our Lady of EDSA Shrine" should work...
