I realize that Romans 5 puts the blame on Adam. How is it that the Genesis account seem to intimate that both Satan and Eve sinned before Adam? My guess is because God gave the command to Adam. Adam was then responsible to communicate that command effectively. We'll never know if he communicated it effectively but what we do know is that Eve had it wrong and Adam didn't do anything about it. He was responsible for both communicating God's Word as well as responsible to speak up when he heard the addition to what God had said and of course for following God's Word himself.

Scripture does not say that Adam needed to communicate the message to Eve and Genesis 3:2-3 shows the Eve did get the message.
The question is, when did Satan sin and why didn't his sin bring in death?
