And the context of the question was "what will happen in the end?"
Deu 1:35 Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see the good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,
2Ki 15:12 This was the word of Jehovah which he spake unto Jehu, saying, Thy sons to the fourth generation shall sit upon the throne of Israel. And so it came to pass.
Mat 12:41 The men of Nineveh shall stand up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonah;
Mat 16:4 An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of Jonah. And he left them, and departed.
He was speaking of the generation he lived in, not ours.
[I think that he was most likely referring to the generation which would be present to witness all of the particular signs of which he spoke.]
Absolutely correct. And that generation saw the rebirth of Israel in the land of Israel where the God of Israel is gathering them to bring in and fulfil the latter day prophecies that result in the 7 year wrath of God on all unbeleivers of men and Satan and his unholy angels (aka, the seven year tribulation), followed by the 2nd advent of Jesus Christ on the earth as Lord and King of all nations. The 21 seperate judgements on Israel and the whole earth is necessary to bring in the 1000 year rule of Jesus Christ on the earth.
Mankind can not do this as anyone who thinks and discerns knows, as the scriptures plainly teach unto those who believe and read the scriptures.
Sola Scriptura.
