A campaign to persuade major booksellers to move missionary-generated holiday Passover Haggadahs off the "Judaism" shelves has won the first round.
The Jewish anti-missionary organization Outreach Judaism raised the alarm about Passover Family Pack: Everything You Need to Enjoy a Passover Seder Dinner earlier this week, warning Jews the so-called Haggadah was really a Christian text.
Rabbi Tovia Singer, director of Outreach Judaism, called on Jews who unsuspectingly purchased the book to return it at the point of sale, and to lobby the bookstores and corporations to remove the tome from the "Judaism" section of the shelves. Singer also called on people to sign an online petition to ban the misleading holiday guide.

It seems a lot of the comments on Amazon as well warn folks this isn’t a Jewish text.
This part is misleading. I'm reading the petition now and it doesn't call for this book to be banned, only removed from the Passover and Judaism sections of stores. There is no call for a ban. This seems fair enough if it isn't a true Jewish text.
If it’s not in the Jewish section, where should it be? It’s about Haggadah. Does it go in the Christian section?
The bookstores I frequent have a “religious” section anyway, not a “Jewish” section. You can find yer Bibles, yer Korans, yer Passover tomes, Deepak, whatever, all in the “religious” section. I’ve never seen a “Jewish” section.
Based on what I’m reading about the content, it does sound like it belongs in the Christian section. The title is misleading.
I’ve seen many stores that have seasonal sections or displays, such as a Jewish/Passover section now, along with an Easter section.
