just a question of where you’re headed- from your response you didn’t seem to share the destination that the Bible (for starters) tells me I should have in my sights.
BTW- I don’t agree with all the theology in the shack either- but its still a tool that the Holy Spirit used in my life. follow your conscience in how you handle the book- but let others do the same.

I’m stunned by the reaction of some people to this book. Just because it didn’t speak to their hearts, they are ready to throw it into the fire and not let other people make their own decisions about it. I loved this story, this thought provoking work of fiction. Couldn’t put it down. Very rarely does a book affect me that way. I sure didn’t see any harm that could come to anyone reading it. It reminds me of Joel Osteens church. Lots of people running it down and hating it for being “Christian Lite” but as far as I have seen, he’s not preaching anything dangerous, like Obama’s preacher friend. And he’s reaching a lot of people with his positive message, his mega church is always packed.
