It isn’t just a Catholic problem. No fault divorce is one of the most pernicious social innovations of the 60s.
Of course, you are right. “No-fault” divorce affects everyone. I guess from a Catholic perspective, we Catholics who have been through this “meat grinder” on families, get the further indignity of then having the Church declare our marriages null and void in numbers so mind-boggling as to be scandalous. In 1968 there were approximately 600 declarations of nullity issued in the U.S. Today, about 60,000 per year, an increase of 10,000%!!!
