I couldn’t care less whether they make stuff up or not. It’s the funny image they present that cracks me up—that of the (clearly) religiously devout checking under their beds for Mormons every night before going to sleep.

I keep my horns filed down so I don’t scare them in public.

image they present...that of the (clearly) religiously devout checking under their beds for Mormons every night before going to sleep.

So are we to take it that you present a clearly irreligious vantage point checking out the "checkers" this morning before the day gets busier?

You know the apostle Paul spent three years in Ephesus. Every night before he would go to bed, he would warn the sheep to be on guard about savage wolves who would come in and not spare the flock, distort the truth, draw away disciples unto their new twisted beliefs...and he wouldn't only do that at night for 3 years...but during the day, too...and he said, "with tears." [See below for Biblical passage in fuller context, if interested]

But if you don't think of people as being vulnerable like sheep before wolves, I understand why you think this is a comical game. I guess if I were in your place, I might come to the same conclusion.

Certainly racism is no laughing matter. (What? Do you think it might be?) It's already cropped up twice in this thread. Reaganesque brought it up indirectly by citing a press release that referenced a person's comments on past LDS open racism (see post #10 reference to Lawrence O'Donnell). And I responded to that in post #75.

25"Now I know that none of you among whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom will ever see me again. 26Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of all men. 27For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God. 28Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood. 29I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. 30Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. 31So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears." (Acts 20:25-31)
