If you are ever in NYC, I would strongly encourage you to visit Fr. Rutler's Church of Our Saviour on 38th Street and Park Avenue. The backwall of the Sanctuary has been painted with this image of Christ Pantocrator.

I have been to this Church for a Baptism, It was beautiful. Only years later did I realize that “Christ in the City” was filmed @ it. I try never to miss “Christ in the City” on EWTN. Father Rutler is excellent and the depth of theology preached is wonderful.

AAhh, we just ‘happened’ to find that church on our first trip to NYC, ONE week after coming into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil. The mural is breath-takingly beautiful, just lovely. And out walks Father Rutler, our tv-friend!
