Well, for most religious folks, an apostate church is every church but their own. You probably had better study the doctrines of that church, check it against the scriptures, and pray about it before making your decision. There is no other “ultimate authority” than God on what is or is not an apostate church.

I think a good basis of apostacy is the position of the Trinity, and acceptance of creeds, particularly the Nicene etc..and the divinity and duality of Christ

sorry but I disagree.

a reasonable person acquainted with the clear instructions of the 10 commandments alone can discern an apostate church in today's world.

don't need God to explain it....again.

simpler than all that even...any Christian Church denies Christ is the son of God sent here to die for our sins is apostate.
