Praise and glory to our LordJesus Christ.
I will pray. When our daughter was baptized my husband held her as the water was poured. He was not Catholic. He said he actually felt something happening to him when the water was poured. He felt it was the Holy Spirit. This led him to a conversion in 1990. I will pray for the same for your son!
God bless Red,
I was apostate in my early 20’s and made the journey back.
God put lots of the strangest of instruments in my way to bring this about. Sometimes I didn’t recognize God’s hand in the process until sometime later.
By the time my son was born I had come full circle. Your grandson will certainly bring your own closer to faith.
Hopefully, your daughter-in-law may be helpful throughout the process? Your son’s entire family will be the beneficiaries of his return to the Church.
The coolest thing, which I had not anticipated about becoming a father was the new insights into scripture; the reading of a son’s duty to a father in Sirach, the Prodigal Son and other scripture where the model is flipped and “you” are now the dad.
God bless the lot of you. Hope the weather holds out for a spring day.
Prayers for God’s blessings.
Very happy to pray for blessings for your wonderful grandson and your son, on this very holy day.
