I'm not sure if I'd put a whole lot of faith in that poll; they interviewed 2854 people, and about 6% of those (171) are supposed to be "traditionalist Catholics". They got a bigger Democrat bump from 2004 to 2008 among "traditionalist Catholics" than from any other group except "Ethnic Protestants". (17% for "trad Catholics" versus -7% for "centrist Catholics" ... a net 24% difference?!?)

Looks like it might be a bit of an outlier.
