I've said it before... there is plenty you guys can find fault in us, why go to these obscure sites to find ammo?
I'm done with this thread.
You want honesty seven? Check out this article from MSNBC.com. Excerpted per FR rules.
There is NO mention in this article that the website is maintained by and dedicated to mormon beliefs...in fact it is carefully worded to AVOID those facts.
Tell me that the mormon leaders are not aware of this site and its INTENT!
If you want honesty, I call upon you, as a good priesthood holder to take this to the leaders in SLC and make them aware of the fraudulent practices shown here.
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - The Foundation for Christian Studies (FCS), a non-profit organization dedicated to the study and awareness of Christian theology, values, and service, today launched its global website at www.studychristianity.org. The FCS website includes a comprehensive doctrinal study program, downloadable theological essays, interactive discussion forums, and online stores for Christian books, music, and art. While the primary mission of the FCS is to encourage the study of Christianity, the FCS also commits itself to supporting outstanding global charities in hopes of inspiring ongoing Christian service.
"The Foundation delivers easy to understand and use Christian study content and interactive discussion platforms for people around the world -- regardless of theological differences," says Eric Shuster, the Foundation's Founder and Executive Director.
So whether from an official site (defined by you and other ldsers) or and un-offical site (defined by you and other ldsers) the information is incorrect or distorted.
When people who where raised in lds and left (defined by you and other ldsers) are liars and deceivers state their expert opinion they are dismissed.
When people quote directly from the BoM they are called liars and deceivers unless it is quoted by a current member of lds, there is castigation by you and others that the responders are just trying to cause trouble.
However, you and other ldsers can quote actual Biblical scripture with zero understanding of the Word or its historical content and you expect total agreement and acceptance.
I am so confused. It appears that what you and other ldsers say at any given moment is "true" but don't depend on it being "true" next time because thats a different moment. Don't depend on historical documents and the BoM for response because that only means what you and other ldsers want it to mean at any given moment.
Is that the way we play, today anyway, could change at any given moment.
