There were some, however, in that pre-earthly council who did not shout for joy. They either lacked faith in our Heavenly Father, in the Savior, or in the gospel plan, or they lacked faith in their own ability or willingness to keep the law that would be given to them. Thus, they actively opposed the plan of our Heavenly Father. Their leader was called Lucifer, “the son of the morning”; he is also known as the devil or Satan.
Lucifer not only opposed the plan of our Heavenly Father, but he sought to amend and change the terms of salvation by denying men their free agency and by preempting our Heavenly Father. The exact words of Lucifer’s boast are contained in the book of Moses: “I will redeem all mankind, that one soul shall not be lost, and surely I will do it; wherefore give me thine honor.” (Moses 4:1.)
Thus there was a great war in heaven, and a key issue in that war was whether or not man was to be a morally free agent while upon the earth. A vote was taken. (By the way, that in itself indicates that we had our free agency there; in a sense Lucifer exercised his free agency in an attempt to deny us the right to exercise our free agency.) Two-thirds of those present voted for the plan of our Heavenly Father; one-third voted against the plan and did not participate in it.
Well, you know the rest of that story. Lucifer and his followers were cast out of heaven. In order for Lucifer to make all of us subject to him, thus enabling him to put his throne above the throne of God, he needed to accomplish two things: first of all, he needed to get sin into the world, and then he needed to keep Jesus Christ from atoning for that sin.

Adam’s role in the eternal plan of God began in our premortal first estate. His Eastern Orthodox source had a translation error.
The question was what Colofornian believed what happened “Before in the beginning”, not what you think we believe.
A: There are many passages in the BOM that are straight copies of the KJV.
B: LDS’ers point out that there could be a good reason for that: Most of the content is the same because most of what God was conveying was the same.
C: But, There are errors in translation in the KJV. The KJV translators did not have many of the source materials that we now have.
D: Yet, these errors in translation show up in the BOM. Why would translation errors from the KJV show up in the BOM?
E: The existence of translation errors from the KJV in the BOM proves that mormonism is a totally false religion created by Joseph Smith, and he just copied much of it from the KJV.

If we get you the true answers, would you be willing to change your mind about the Book of Mormon being the true word of God, and embrace His teachings?
But then the same article confirms my wildest suspicions with the following paragraph:

But, leave it to the human ego to inflate itself past holiness and right into divinity. There really is no limit to human insanity and religion provides perfect fertile ground for all sorts of craziness to subsist as respectable human activity veiled as religion. I am pretty much washed out with this topic. I think faith is fantasy, sometimes raised to a dangerous level. I can see why people professing love burned people at stakes over a figment of their imagination: they are all insane imo.

Now, let’s set aside the Bible for just a minute and reason together...
God is omnipotent - all powerful.
If there was more than one God, they both couldn’t be
all powerful.
Since the real God is omnipotent, there is no chance you
or any other person will become God.

I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for those true answers, F has been unable to provide any of those to anyone around here lately. However, you may be able to get a discounted tour of the lands of Nephi - I hear they are unreal.
