Exponential 09 Conference to Feature a Speaker Whose Biggest Regret is Not Clubbing a Church Lady With a Baseball Bat
The Exponential 09 church planters conference has invited
Gary Lamb of Revolution Church in Canton Georgia
to be one of the featured speakers.
Gary Lamb is on the record saying that one of his biggest regrets is that he didn't club a church lady with a baseball bat, punch her husband in the face and set fire to the church organ.
Gary Lamb has no business being a pastor or a conference speaker.
The LAST thing the church needs is Lamb teaching other pastors how to be like him.
Here is the relevant sound bite from the "sermon" where Gary Lamb shared this sick 'regret'.

Lamb's lust for murderous violence doesn't end here.
Read what Lamb wrote on his blog to the person who stole one of his church's trailers.
http://www.garylamb.org/2008/07/03/trailer-stolen/
To the people who stole our trailer:
First let me say, God loves you.
Second let me say we forgive you. We really dont want to forgive you, but God says we should so we do.
Third of all I want you to know that I think you are scum bags.
I think you are lowlife degenerates who need a good butt kicking.
Matter of fact I feel so strongly about the fact that you need a good butt kicking that I am volunteering to do it.
I hope you believe in God because you should get on your knees and cry out to Him like never before because if we find you,
I can promise we will kick the crap out of you.
It wont be pretty, it wont be over quickly, and it will be very painful.
I know that doesnt sound very nice but I feel pretty strongly that is what you need.
Thought pastors weren’t supposed to be brawlers? Sounds like Lamb needs to be thrown out of the ministry on his ear.
I agree titus.
BTW it isnt just Lamb who should be thrown out for this un-christ-like behavior.

reports that Pastor Tadd Grandstaff who is, one of Gary Lambs sermon collaborators.
also is acting violent towards others
then we have this from
Perry Noble in South Carolina
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSxkhs9x98w
all 3 of these pastors who are seeker-sensitive pastors
and followers of the Purpose Driven Church movement
and disciples of the Willow Creek church movement
I don’t understand all of what this man is supposed to have said but his words about the thieves lead me to say GOOD FOR HIM! We have had an awful lot of St. Francis of Assisi the last 50 years. Now we need a few generations of St. Bernard of Clairvaux.
There you go. I've heard a lot about the Purpose Driven "Church" movement, and how it infests a church, runs out the people who don't "get with the program", and then runs the church like the pastor's personal fiefdom. Bad news all around.
Actually, what we really need is less of either and more and more of Christ Jesus our Lord at work in our lives!
titus, you are so right.
if only the pastors in my town of Omaha Nebraska would wake up the Rick Warren and Bill Hybels hog-wash
they have pushed nothing but spirtual garbage all across the country.
I wonder if the EPA could arrest Warren and Hybels for dumping toxic waste (i.e. the seeker-sensitive garbage
in churches across the country.
BTW, Hybels and Warren are both students of
Robert Schuller of the Crystal Sarcophagus
Especially the sword bearing Christ.
I get such kick out of people who defend the seeker sensitive movement which spawns creeps and circus acts like this Gary Lamb, while telling ME and people like Chris Rosebrough, Ken Silva, and Ingrid Schlueter etc. that we are ‘doing violence’ to the church by warning the church against the errors that give rise to these Gary Lamb types. Stephen Furtick and Perry Noble are another couple that are in the Gary Lamb category of hatefulness for the real church.
