Honestly I don’t see anything wrong with “birth control” in and of itself. The problem is immorality - and we HAVE gone rampant with that. BC and abortions did help promulgate that, but the sin is still with the sinner deciding it’s OK to copulate (or even do other “non-sex” Clintonian activities) any old time s/he wants.

Well, there can be health scares about long term effects about hormone-based birth control (FDA territory?), as well as environmental effects of the hormone getting into the water supply (can the Catholic church lobby the EPA to enacting insane regulations on this issue?). Condoms are another problem though, but I think if birth control was limited to non-chemical methods, we would be in much better shape to turning society away from having a casual attitude about sex.
