World Net Daily has done it again and is also on the cutting edge informing the world. As I was making the rounds on my favorite news web sites, I saw the title on WND - Stimulus to ban religious worship. As I started to read the piece I was amazed to find what also was stuffed into this big pork sandwich called the “Stimulus bill”. This “Stimulus bill” was written totally for and by the Socialist Left Democratic Party of America. The ingredients of this bill are 93 % pork and 7% stimulus. This Stimulus bill is none other then a Trojan horse full of bureaucracy and a leftist leaning agenda to dramatically change the course of the United States of America forever. What is most alarming is that this bill will most likely pass. We as a nation are on the precipice of absolute social change and full blown secular socialism. Our leaders in Washington are seeking more and more power. This bill is an absolute abomination to all that our founding Fathers held so dear and fought so hard to preserve. At the core of our Founders ideal was the Freedom of Religious practice. Our country was founded on these very Judean/Christian values, everything that the Left hates and despises.

Greeks and Arabs and Copts and Slavs and Amenians, as well as Christians in Iraq, Iran and India have worshiped God in their own languages since day 1. That The Church in the West used Latin and enforced its usage with an axe is no fault of The Church in East, TIF. We had nothing to do with that. Don’t fall into the trap of applying history made up to justify protestant animosity towards the Roman Church to Eastern Christianity.

I am astonished that you show neither knowledge of nor appreciation for the 1400 years of oppression Christians in the East have suffered under the grinding boot of Mohammedanism AND YET PRESERVED THE FAITH INVIOLATE TO THIS DAY, the devastating attacks of “Christian” America on behalf of Mohammedan jihadis to the contrary notwithstanding.

That, TIF, is demonstrably untrue. History’s march is longer that the few hundred years America has been around. I will grant you that no nation has ever done more, as a non Mohammedan nation, for the expansion of Islam at the expense of Christianity than America has the past 30 years or so.
I would add that whether the worship in the Latin Church was in Latin rather than the vernaculars has nothing to do with the Christian values Medieval Europe was built upon.

There are those here who would most heartily agree with that and thank-God for it...though not for the reasons you doubtless believe.
Orthodox Christians would argue that "Judeo/Christian Values" of the highest order formed the basis of every element of the governing of the Eastern Roman Empire for at least 1000 years. Copts would argue that those same values formed the basis of the government and society of Ethiopia for substantially longer than that. There are other examples, TIF.
Now, if what you mean to say is that a particular subset of Calvinist values never governed a nation as those values have America, I think we could find a consensus to stand behind that one.
Oh, come now. No one is limiting anyone's speech, unless having distinct, separate forums for appropriate content on FR is a form of limiting speech. The blogger forum was created for content such as yours.
As for World Nut Daily, it tends to the sensationalist end of the spectrum at times.

This response is typical of the radical fringe of conservatism.
WND is no more reliable — and probably less so — than the liberal MSM. Not saying they aren’t right on a rare occasion.
I post on this particular forum (Religion) because that is the topic majority of what we blog on. I like the feed back positive and negative. It helps me to be rooted in my Faith In Jesus Christ and to test what I believe. I just suggest next time you see a post of ours..just walk on by..
