I have no trouble trusting in Jesus. God also gave me a brain so I could use it.
It’s a nice story, but I wouldn’t read too much into it.
For those of us who know of the divine mercy devotion in prayer and song know of it’s fruits. Because we have been blessed by them in some wonderful ways. Our brain also leads us to sinful ways as well. It is the calling of the holy spirit that leads us to prayer and praise.
I found much more cause for rejoicing in this story than this particular detail you bring up.
I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking so.
