Wilton Gregory happens to be black. If Gregory is named New York’s Archbishop, we’ll all have to endure weeks of hearing ONLY about the fact that Gregory is black. I really can’t listen to that stuff anymore. God spare us this, please.
ROFL ..... Only those of us who have suffered through and endured the miserable bishops assigned to NY can truly appreciate how the media would have a 'hay day' over such an announcement. Let's pray that Egan's successor is Dolan or one like him. After 50+ years of liberal leadership, I don't think we can endure much more.
