I agree it has done nothing but dilute the message of Fatima which is proven, and don’t think it is a coincidence that Our Lady appeared in Fatima when Mohammad’s daughter’s name was Fatima.....think about it-
“It must count as one of the world’s great ironies at this, holiest site in the Iberian Peninsula, is named for Fátima, the daughter of the founder of Islam. “
yes, the town is named after the daughter.
