we too felt like he belonged to us as soon as we laid eyes on him, our baby was only 7 weeks old. He just called us about an hour ago to check up on us, as he says...He has never disappointed us in any way, once again I told him “Thanks son for coming into our lives”, his answer...”my pleasure Mom Thank You”

Thank you for posting this!!! I am half-adopted (by my mother's husband) and an adoptive parent. We brought my daughter home when she was only 4 days old. Her biological grandmother placed her in my arms and asked me to love her as my own ... how could I not! Today she is 22. She is the greatest gift God has given me!

I have friends who adopted a young boy from Romania. Sadly, the adoptive mother died from breast cancer and her husband was left to raise the boy alone. She gave her son a big hug, kiss and 'I love you" just before she died. He has never forgotten those words.

How Blessed we both are...

Our son is engaged to a young girl that was also adopted and they said that if they are not blessed with babies, they will go out searching for one....
I told him “go for it” I sure did good on our search.

I know people who adopted from Russia. I was amazed at the amount of money that changes hands.
