Actually, both my theories imply that succumbing to temptation - “lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life” - is something exceptional that couldn’t happen to a short, gray-haired, pregnant woman in the suburbs. “If any one thinks he (or she) is standing, let him take care lest he fall.” (I just probably wouldn’t make the news!)
