As was the title of Judas as disciple. Still he died at his own hand, as these two men seem intent on doing, spiritually.
I remember years ago when the Charismatic renewal hit the RCC and you had John Michael Talbot leading Spirit filled praise and worship. Such as clapping and dancing and bowing O my.
Is it just my perception, or has the Catholic Church grown some serious cajones since the new Pope entered office?
Boxes? Dresser drawers?
I don’t think it’s just your perception. Remember, he said he could see a smaller, purer, more faithful Church. I think this is just a part of it.
I am astonished.
Two? well, it’s a start.
To nit - pick just a bit on the list of Bishops who have taken a pro-life stand. Are several double counted? It appears that may be the case from the list. For example:
112-116. Joint Statement by the bishops of Kansas (4 bishops)
But:
32. Archbishop Joseph Naumann of Kansas City, KS
35. Bishop Ronald Gilmore of Dodge City, KS
36. Bishop Paul Coakley of Salina, KS
37. Bishop Michael Jackels of Wichita
I also noticed individuals from Florida, Pennsylvania, and New York.
You still have over the 100 in the headline, but let’s not give more credit than is due. It’s great that many Bishops are now standing up for the faith that they profess, but don’t let the pressure off as to their reprobate brethren.
“The priests obviously gave the finger to the Catholic church.”
You are right. And giving the finger to Christ’s Church is giving the finger to Christ Himself.
Don’t harsh the hate trip, dude...
