No. That’s how many people who practice Christianity competitively conduct themselves. I know many of them. To them, each utterance of the name “Jesus” brings them closer to salvation. It’s almost as though they calculate a “Jesus” density in their speech: Number of times “Jesus” is spoken divided by total number of words spoken. The higher the density, the more likely they are to be above the rapture cut-off line.
And I know far too many waitstaff who have been stiffed by churchgoers with a tract.
What a shame people are going to churches that say homosexuality is normal, that the way to salvation is by saying Jesus x number of times, and what a shame people think this is what Christianity is all about.
A Christ centered church is the way to go.
