Good men have preached hard aginst evil, millions have reared their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord, tears have been shed for the salvation of souls and the preservation of a nation .. and yet .. Satan has a firm grasp on the neck of America ... why?
The tactic in the Garden has been used over and over again more successfully in these latter times.
Question authority.
Evidence "authority" as unreliable and dishonest, and the ungrounded human mind will do the rest.
Just as Eve added to the requirements God had dictated about the Tree of Life .. so too has the simplicity and purity of salvation by grace through faith (not a church, not a denomination, not any poarticular 'doctrine' ... ) clouded our vision ... and incrementally, we were blinded.
America is the lobster in the pot, the frog in boiling water ... the heat came up slowly .. and our eyes are closing in death.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
No baptism, no sacraments, no holy underwear, no fasting, no nothing except a sincere prayer in belief and scceptence, "Lord, have mercy on me .. a sinner"
