I took your #6 comment that you were saying I am the blogger person. I’m not.

My questions re the public apology were in regard to the letter being delivered to the wrong person. If the church nailed the wrong person then do you think they should apologize publicly?

Y'know, in the last few years I've been thru a couple of church issues of my own that I didn't post here, despite the fact that I've been posting here for quite some time.

Truth is that I'm just not wise enough to know. All I can say is that I pray for the people in my own situation(s) and leave the rest to God.

If the church served the wrong person, then the person wrongly accused should make that fact known to the church leadership. It’s not clear to me that they have gotten the wrong person. I doubt that they picked a church member at random.

Folks can have legitimate disagreements with church leadership. Public blogs are NOT an appropriate way to handle them.
