Not really. Most of them are hard core mentally ill, who really ought to be permanently housed in mental hospitals. They’re unemployable, even for odd jobs at totally unskilled labor. If they were rational enough to hold down any kind of job, they’d be rational enough to have gotten themselves into taxpayer-funded housing and food stamps a long time ago.

Yes, but aside from radio hosts, politicians and salesmen the rest could do more than watch "The View".

So much for PL- for community mental health centers in 1963. Might have worked had the funding been there and there still would have been housing for hard core mentally ill.

It is tragic all the way around now. They are very very sick, they get abused on the streets, and treatment is difficult because everyone has been so ‘helpful’ with their rights (not) that they are difficult to help with meds.

I find it ironic that the oh so progressive San Fran city can’t do any better with funding and helping the homeless mentally ill...even though they have lots of money ...ha! big on “freedom” , low on charity..typical libs!
