For all those who are Catholic or not, thank goodness there is still one church left that adheres to timeless principles of faith and the truth. The Holy Roman Catholic church will prevail forever.
So, true. did you see the interview with Maria Shriver in which she outright called herself a cafeteria Catholic, and said that she strongly disagrees with the church’s position on many things? It’s sad to me. So many people think of her and others like her as educated and enlightened, yet she doesn’t know the difference between a “position” and the church’s adherence to TRUTH. And, they are so arrogant to think they’ve figured it all out while the church is stuck in its archaic thinking. Yea, they know more than the 2000 year old church founded by Jesus.
The church does not tell one what to think, nor does it tell one how to vote. The church teaches the truth, you decide with free will if you want to adhere to it or not. Maria Shriver and her ilk are free to reject the church’s teaching, but they are not free to reject the consequences of their decision.
I thank God every day for His church and my faith in it. I know it is a gift.
