Prayers, tears, sorrow and gratitude for each and every one.
Every time I read of another death and think of the family and friends who are mourning the loss of their loved one.....I am brought to my knees.....as a soldier’s mother....and the words, “there but for the grace of God, go I” find their way into my thoughts which brings me torment in and of itself....not wanting to be selfish, but so thankful...and yet, grieving as if each death was my own son or daughter. In my heart, they were.
I hold these brave souls and their families in my prayers and will continue to light the candles each and every night in honor of their sacrifice and also to honor those that still remain on this earth defending us all.
every time I read of another death....
Those thoughts come to me daily with a grandson in Iraq. I certainly do not want a war on our own ground, but I also certainly would like to see the Hollyweirds and the politicians that do what they can to undermine this country and our military have to deal with what they don’t have to because of our military.
Suppose we could ship those people over there for some realilty education? Probably not.
