You're abandoning Cauvin?

Imagine spending your adult years with lustful fetish of hatred toward Christ’s Church? What a dismal state to be in. We must pray more wholeheartedly for these poor misguided souls.

Not quite. The Catholic Church believes in the "veneration" of Mary. I find there is no theological grounds for this veneration, much less praying to saints. If you want to pray to someone, your suppose to pray to Christ-not to someone who will pray to Christ for me. This seems like simple logic.

You're abandoning Cauvin?

No, I just accept some of the more profound writings of Augustine Catholics reject, writing from which Calvin drew his conclusions. Those who know me and have read my posts over the years and my conversion to the Reformed doctrine, will confirmed that I arrived at my Reformed beliefs not through Calvin but through Augustine.

Congratulations! You agree with the Catholic Church.

And that is why I still believe there is hope yet for our Catholic friends. ;O)
