So was the door open? Don’t think a 23 month old could reach up and open a sliding door. They are heavy. Something fishy about this story.

You haven't been around any two-year-olds have you? They could probably figure out a combination lock faster than a safe cracker and move objects to get to said lock.

INDEED.

some are incredibly resourceful, creative, clever, smart, determined, tenacious, strong willed.

some will simply not stop until they’ve reached their objective.

I’ve certainly seen plenty that could open a lot of sliding glass doors. Most such doors are designed to slide easily, after all.

We had seven kids in fact. I wasn't referring to the lock but the weight of our sliding glass door would not be possible for a 23 month old to move. It's even difficult for me. Maybe just the glass doors in our area or maybe the door was open.

So maybe God flew her to the pond but to go thru two barbed wire fences and walk a mile barefooted and in the dark too. All that just adds up to more than strange to me.

It just seems to me some questions should be asked of these parents as I still think it sounds fishy.
