If the nun is in fact breaking the law, McCain as a Senator and Candidate must uphold the Constitution. And if the nun is breaking the law, McCain should demand that she be prosecuted.

The imagery on TV in the days before the Election would be profound. McCain calling for the nuns arrest and then Federal Officers hauling the nun away in leg irons and handcuffs.

Or, just forget about it and let the nun cast her one vote.

If she isn't, it certainly points to rather loose election laws, don't you think? I mean, apparently, you can suspend your American presidential vote for MORE THAN 50 YEARS, (sorry for shouting) express no interest in returning to the US, and still vote? Amazing.

Well, there's the rub. That would make a most unfortunate scene three weeks out to election day. But, what if it isn't just one vote? What other nonsense like this is going on?

Please, please, don't let get me started on the topic of her pro-abortion vote...

I still don't know whether I even believe this story from the Beeb...
