They should bring back communion on the tongue and Chapel Veils for women. It’s not demeaning, it’s a sign of reverence.

Well, let her. I was at a Latin Novus Ordo mass at a monastery the other day (there aren't very many where I live, so this was unusual) and the church was full, particularly with young people. This was the new form, mind you, but in Latin, which actually makes it much better than the vernacular form because, if nothing else, the priest can't improvise!

This lady is not going to be able to flee for long, and in addition, I'd bet that wherever she goes is going to be in Latin within the next 5 years or so. But she won't be an EEM, and that's what's really the problem in her mind.

I doubt we have a Latin mass. We are a large parish, and Monsigneur said that the problem was that if we had a Latin mass it would have to be in the afternoon, as we already have 4 Sunday morning masses and he didn't want to use one of those time periods for the Latin mass, because those people would either have to have Latin or switch their regular time. Plus of the 4 priests we have here, 2 don't know Latin well enough to learn the mass.

Anyway, the impression I got was that unless there was a huge demand for it, it isn't going to happen here.

Please understand I am not saying these are justifiable excuses. I am just telling you what I was told, and came to the conclusion that when I want a Latin mass I am going to have to drive across town.
