I am hoping many of our seperated brethern will see this as an opportunity to discover the truth about the Church.
Well, aside from “We find the chief truths taught by Jesus Christ through the Catholic Church in the Apostles’ Creed,” we Protestants agree, unless you accept our stipulation that there is a universal Church that includes believers in the lordship of Christ our Savior. We’re closer than you think — but forgive us if we won’t give up on those points of doctrine which do distinguish us.
