So you believe that God does NOT want to show forth His goodness and does NOT want to share with us His everlasting happiness in heaven?

God did not make man to show forth His goodness. If mankind did not exist would God not be able to illustrate His goodness? God does not have to do anything to prove that He is good, for everything around us simply shows God to be good. God was good, and God showed Himself to be good, far before man ever came on the scene.

God created man for His glory. He illustrates His glory everyday by sustaining and providing for man while they use His name in vain, mocking and reviling Him. He has promised His everlasting happiness with His children (believers), another trait that will bring glory to Him. Someday, every knee will bow to God. But God, the Ancient of Days, will be glorified with or without man.

It is rather narcissistic to suggest God showed Himself to be good by creating man. God didn't have to show anyone anything to be good.
