Jones and Pagitt are not evangelicals...they are liberals pretending to be evangelicals.
The great question is, what are these "progressive evangelicals" progressing toward, Heaven or Hell?
I don't want to pass judgment on anyone who claims to be a Christian because only God knows what is in their heart. But we are told that we will know "them", who I believe are our true brothers and sisters in Christ, by their fruit. IMHO supporting and voting for the pro-partial birth abortion, aka child murder, Democrat nominee and his like minded partners in crime is one of the most evil fruits I can think of ofhand.

Jesus warned us that this system of things would end..
He spoke of:
1.The Apostate Church
2. Natural Disasters
3. Famine
4. Pestilence
5. the rise of homosexuality
6. the love of many would wax cold...
Jesus said this earth would be getting worse, he never said in the End Times we would live in a world of Peace, Prosperity and Kindness....
But he said *See that your heart is not troubled* and be a good steward and watch that you are not judging other’s

7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. “Judge not, that ye be not judged.”
7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? (7:3-4) “A beam is in thine own eye”
We should avoid hypocrisy and consider our own faults rather than criticizing others.
It’s wrong to kill a tree, but it’s okay to kill an unborn baby. I get it.

I agree with you too... it seems like the phrase “young evangelicals” has become almost synonymous with young ‘christian’ marxists. Led by one of the biggest Animal Farm hogs of them all, Jim Wallis.
