FATHER WE THANK YOU FOR JESUS, THE HOLY SPIRIT, HEARING US, MERCY, BOLDNESS, GRANTING OUR PETITIONS, VICTORY, PEACE, UNDERSTANDING, REST, WISDOM, QUIETNESS, STRENGTH, JOY, COURAGE, MOTIVATION, YOUR WORD, YOUR HEALING, BLESSINGS, GUIDANCE, SALVATION, RIGHTEOUSNESS AND SO MUCH MORE.
We ask You to send out our ministering angels today to go before us and to prosper our way. We say that we hear Your voice today and that of a stranger we ignore. Strengthen our hearts and bring us closer to you. Teach us to withstand our trials knowing that our faith will get stronger. Father, show us how to focus on the problems, mountains and challenges that other people face and guide us to Bless them in some way.
Amen
For some time, through FReepmail, several FReepers have provided each other with a way to share prayer requests and praises.
Now that the Non-denominational category has been established, we are offering a weekly thread in which posts of your requests and praises are welcome.
Anyone, regardless of denomination, is welcome to bring their concerns here.
If those of you who wish, care to continue the practice of joining in a communal prayer as has been the practice, please feel free to do so as is described below:
The one thing that we hope to establish here, is that at a set time on Sunday evening, 11:00 p.m. in the Eastern time zone, 10:00 p.m. Central time, 9:00 p.m. Mountain time, and 8:00 p.m. Pacific time, we will as a group, lift these concerns up in prayer. Individual prayer at any time is, of course, encouraged.
If anyone desires to post an "anonymous" request, just word it in a manner such as: " Please lift up my prayer (or praise) for a personal concern." Additional anonymity can be gained by sending a request or praise to mhgintn or greyfoxx39 via FReepmail.
Please bring your praises and requests, and join us Sunday evening for communal prayer.
There are some updates on this thread.
There will be a post on Sunday with a consolidated list of the praises and prayers.
I thank Jesus that my grandson is healed, and that the faithfulness of all who prayed has been recognized by Him who made us all.
Amen.
I would like to submit a request for prayer:
My husband and I are having difficulty in our marriage - where in he has not been a stable provider and tends to be lazy and selfish.
He is also unemployed (7 weeks now) and is having trouble landing a decent paying job (or one at all).
I ask for prayer for our marriage and that God would open the door very soon for the right job for him. Also that He would give me guidance and strength in dealing with this trial. It has been very hard for me.
Thank you.
May God look upon you and your husband with favor and, in his wisdom, provide for your needs. Amen
You have FReepmail!
This is not easy to write but I do have a prayer request.
Three years ago to the date, I found out that my husband was having an affair which had been ongoing for one year prior to my finding out.
A little over two years ago, he moved out and in with other woman. He has tried coming home twice only to move back out.
Other woman worked in an office in the complex my husband used to maintain.
Other woman’s office moved out of the complex one year ago.
I got laid off from my job in July. One week ago, my husband got fired from his job of 14 years.
We are not divorced.
I am praying that my husband repents and is brought to his knees and that he has had the last week to examine all he has done.
Don’t get me wrong, our marriage was always good.
He has been coming over most everyday since he lost his job. I am helping him with his resume and he has asked that I use our home address and phone number on the resume. Interesting for someone who does not live here at the moment.
Also, he brought in a big box of things he had in his office. They consisted of little notes and cards the kids and I gave to him the last few years. He has kept them all and dated them.
I ask that you pray for my husband, his relationship with Christ, and that our marriage be restored. He has been a born-again Christian for over 30 years.
Thank you.
Oh hsmom,
my prayers are certainly with you in your situation. It is very difficult to have an untrustworthy spouse, I too had one for seven years. I prayed, and prayed, but eventually my marriage failed. During those seven years, God prepared me to be strong and prepared me to meet the challenges of being a single mother to three children. At the time it certainly did NOT feel like a blessing, but it turned out to be the biggest blessing of my life.
Do your best - ultimately it is all you can do, then let go and let God. Only God can give you what you need, mankind will fail every single time. Rest in His loving arms and remember you are loved!

Little Spencer Rollins is home at last and doing so much better. He still has problems, of course, but he’s doing amazing well. Thank you for all your prayers and keep on praying.
News is not good for our friend, Amanda, for whom we have been praying:
Amanda
From ozaukeemom | 08/25/2008 7:58:26 PM PDT read
"I just got a call from my friend. They spoke with Amandas mom. She has not gone to DC yet and now they say she wont be. Her organs are shutting down. The hospital wants them to do a DNR. I told her that miracles can happen. They cannot do a DNR! My SO, thank God, did not have one. The doctors told me to come to say good-bye almost 10 years ago. He is still here! They would have let him die if he or I had signed one.
Could you please pray for her? I am praying here and I kow that He hears us all."
Let us all pray for Amanda and her family...God, You know what is best for this child. We lift her up to You, that Your grace will be with her. If it be Thy will, let Your healing hand bless her. Amen
Amen.
Dear Father, I pray that you would raise Amanda up from this bed of death she is on and that people would know that YOU are the healer, not the doctors. She needs a miracle, dear Father, and only YOU can provide one for her. We thank you for what you are about to do for Amanda.
As I join you in seeking His Grace for Amanda, Amen.
Please pray for my sister-in law she has been having seizures and a MRI found anomalies in her temporal lobes.. she gets the results of her tests tomorrow thanks

Mmogamer, were the test results encouraging? Please let us know.
"Thank You Father, that you have brought forth a candidate of YOUR choosing out of the race for President.
Only You could bring this miracle into fruition.
Praise You Holy Name ... Thank you that You hear us ... that You hear us always. In the name of Jesus Christ I thank You for Your favor on us. God bless America. Amen."

And I say "Amen!"
Amen and AMEN!
And the enemies of this country HAVE been confounded, for now. They will regroup, to be sure, but with continued prayer, they will continue to be confounded!
Many will be affected by these storms.
God, bless those who will be in the way of this, along with the many who will be there helping. Borrowing a prayer from our Catholic friends:
Amen
