I’ll give another reason why there are more women then men in church: If the man is a Christian, but the woman is not, you are likely to see both in church. If the woman is a Christian but the man is not, you are likely to see only the woman.
I learned this first hand - the hard way.
And technically, the man is the pastor of the woman, while the pastor of the church is the pastor of the man. A woman who is married to a non-believer has no pastor in the home.
When I look around at the men, during ditty-singing, it is a wonder ANY man sets foot in a church, ever. (Don’t get me started on the music, that’s another issue. But this has to be part of the problem.)They are unhappy, not interested in singing and clapping and cheering, for the most part — remind me of a guy invited to a baby shower.
It has been shown that young men who go to church with their fathers will more likely stay within the church than those young men who only attend with their mothers. Fathers lead by example, always. Their sons always watch them and learn from them.

You are absolutely correct. My first husband wouldn’t go to church and I’ve had a heck of a time convincing my three sons that they are supposed to be the heads of their homes. Haven’t succeeded yet, but my middle son is more open to the things of Christ than the other two. We have a lot of really good families in our church and the men are wonderful. Lots of babies, good children’s ministry. We’ve done some Edwin Cole material with the men as well. You do have to offer men some ministries to help them grow into their headship as they should. Not easy, but things are available to help churches do that.
I don’t buy this at all.
How about this is more about the fact that SOME women need to blah blah blah blah endlessly on a subject and men just need to deal with it once.
WOman will have to go on and on about faith and salvation.
man will just go: salvation? yes. next.
Also does not distinguish that many time the good father is home recoving from working six days to put food on the table so wife and kids can go to church.
