Isn’t Labor Day a Federal holiday?

Federal or State observance applies to the Governmental Employees and certain regulated industries like Banks and governmental unit.

A private company can list and set such Holidays as it observes and then elect to pay or not pay these days as work days under hourly labor policies and agreements.

Tyson is sly in picking a government invented holiday (non-traditional) that was a Labor Union beloved new institution started in NY/NJ in 1882 by Central Labor Union.
