I had heard about them having to change their name when they decided to return to the fold, but I mean I had never ever heard of them at all before! And I thought I was pretty well up on the goings-on in Orkney. We are very fond of the local single-malt whisky, Highland Park.
I must not have remembered that you’re a single-malt fan! I became a fan myself several years ago after moving to the DC area. I’d say my two favorites are Laphroaig (I recently tried their “Quarter Cask” version and it’s excellent) and Glenmorangie’s Cellar 13, which isn’t available in the States, so I have to ask people I know to get me it when they go over to the UK!
