My daughter in law had her foot operated on and is doing pretty well. The car was totalled. I dread to think what might have happened had she not been in an SUV.
My friend Brian, who was in an accident a couple of weeks ago, had to have a series of surgeries to repair the elbow, broken into 20 pieces, broken hip and broken leg (where the bones broke through the skin. He is in rehab now and doing okay. Lots of pain sometimes, though. His wife is expecting in a month. Please pray for them for finances and strength. I’m sure he won’t be a wonderful patient when he gets home, LOL. She needs special grace to care for him and their three, soon to be four children.
Mr. mm had a simple hip fracture last year and I was amazed at how debilitating it was, even for some one relatively young and in good condition. I never had a clue it was such a major issue.
I can’t imagine what your friend is going through with rehab.
Definitely praying for him and his wife and your d-i-l.
