My faith is in YHWH and none else.
He can appear as an angel of light, too, like on the road to Damascus maybe....

Habib, I can actually pronounce the words in the Torah correctly, unlike you. At least you guessed correctly that it is written in Hebrew.
Since you can't even tell the difference between Hebrew & Arabic, you'd better take some lessons fast. So you don't have to make it up as you go along, you know.
I know no Arabic. Is knowledge of Arabic a matter of pride to you?
Hell yes. It's a beautiful language. But don't worry about Arabic until you learn Hebrew.
By the way, I'm just being obnoxious making fun of your pronunciation. Speak whatever dialect you want, just be Jewish.
Also, please do not use potty language on the Religion Forum.
I promise, I have not & will not curse anyone in Arabic or any other language they can or cannot understand.
YHWH is my Saviour, not Jesus.

We are all Sons and Daughters of YHWH.
Psalm 146:3 - Put not your trust in Princes, nor in the Son of Man, in whom there is no help.
Hi, Netizen. I’ve read all your posts, and I’m wondering what religion you are? I’m not looking for an argument, just for clarification. Thanks in advance for any help you can and are willing to give.
I made a statment, just like you did. No more, no less. You want to press the issue? It's possible.
First of all Paul contradicts himself. I say Paul, but to be fair, some scribe may have changed Paul's words.
Romans 2:13 For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
But, on the following page, just 44 verses later, in the same epistle:
Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
Rom 3:20-21 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
Totally opposite of what Jesus taught.
Matthew 5:17-19, "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
Jesus is saying he is here to follow the law of Moses, not end the law. Until the world ends, the law as written will be in effect.
Matthew 19:16-19 (Mark 10:17,19) (Luke 18:18,20), ". . . Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him . . . if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments . . . Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honor thy father and thy mother: and, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself "
I John 5:3, For this is the love of [for] God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous
Paul teaches grace (without the law), while Jesus taught obedience to God's Commandments for Eternal Life and that those Laws are in effect until heaven and earth pass away.
Here'e another example:
Isaiah 59 (NASB)
20 "A (1) Redeemer will come to Zion, And to those who (2) turn from transgression in Jacob," declares the LORD.
cross-references
1. Rom 11:26
2. Ezek 18:30, 31
Romans 11
26 and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, "(1) THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION, HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB."
cross-references 1. Is 59:20
Ezekiel 18
30 "Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, each according to his conduct," declares the Lord GOD. "(1) Repent and turn away from all your transgressions, so that iniquity may not become a stumbling block to you. 31 "(2) Cast away from you all your transgressions which you have committed and make yourselves a (3) new heart and a new spirit! For why will you die, O house of Israel?
Paul has the Deliverer coming from Zion, instead of going to Zion and then has the Deliverer doing all the work of removing ungodliness, instead of the people taking responsibility for their actions and turning away from ungodliness on their own.
Now, whether Paul chose to twist things around on his own or some scribe made the changes either on their own or through some directive remains to be seen, but the fact is that in these examples they go against what Jesus taught and preached. Jesus tells us that he is a prophet and we know he came to preach repentance.
Jesus made the following prediction:
Matthew 24:11 - And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.12 - And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
The word "iniquity" comes from the Greek word "anomia". Thayer's Greek lexicon defines it this way:
iniquity greek 458 anomia {an-om-ee'-ah} from 459; TDNT - 4:1085,646; n f AV - iniquity 12, unrighteousness 1, transgress the law + 4060 1, transgression of the law 1; 15
1) the condition of without law
1a) because ignorant of it
1b) because of violating it
2) contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness
And Strong's Lexicon defines it: "illegality (i.e. violation of the law)"
Basically, Jesus predicted, that because of false prophets, illegality or violation of the law and a condition of being without law will abound.
Looks like he was right on target.
If you're choosing Jesus instead of YHWH, I could say the same of you.
Then why does Paul say that Jesus is a man?
Act 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
Better yet, Jesus himself tells us he is a MAN.
John 8:40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God:
1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
In each instance the word used is MAN, not 'god the son', nor 'son-god', nor 'man-god'.
YHWH didn’t place any name or label on the faith He gave us. For good reason it seems. People seem to focus more on labels and NOT on what He instructed us to do.
Thanks for your reply. What I’m curious about is, is there any group of believers, Jewish, Christian, Mormon, etc., that shares your basic beliefs? If so, which one would you say is closest to you? Or, as far as you know, is your faith fairly unique to you? (Again, I’m not interested in arguing; I’m just curious.)
Oh no, it’s not unique to me, as I mentioned, it was the faith that mankind was originally given. Probably B’nai Noach, Pre-Rabbinic Judaism, Karaites and other variations as well as people that don’t have a label, but choose to live as YHWH instructed, would be the closest.
