My awareness of Richard Abanes is from those here on FR that like to use RA books to bash the LDS!

I have interacted on many of those threads and have never seen RA cited.

From my experience, what you label "bash the LDS" usually does not consist of anything but citations from Joseph Smith, Brigham Young, LDS prophets and LDS Scripture. With these sources, nobody ever needs RA.
