Christ knows their hearts and some are hardened. He knows hate from earnest attempts at Truth. Some are both hardened and blackhearted as well.
I’ve seen some tough and fierce.
I don’t know that any are hardened.
I haven’t seen any I’d label as black-hearted.
. . . . on the Protty side, that is.
And, I’m not, per se certain about any on the RC side though sometimes the evidence seems overwhelming.
Certainly, GOD KNOWS the thoughts and intents of the heart.
And NO rationalizations can even BEGIN before HIS FACE.
Hey, that happens on both sides of the Tiber. How many Catholics just go to church and don’t believe what you do? I’m sure many, especially younger Catholics.
