No. You are wrong. You are confused between ascension and assumption. Christ ascended to Heaven, meaning it was He who did it. Mary was taken to Heaven by His action also. She did not ascend, she was assumed.
Another silly mistake proddies make (and other secularists) is thinking that the Immaculate Conception has something to do with Mary becoming pregnant when it actually has to do with Mary being protected from original sin by virtue of Christ’s timeless merits.
Most Catholics realize that proddies tend to be theologically ignorant and misinformed and are most ready to educate others to the Truth. Don’t hesitate to ask.
