Praying the Rosary helps. You may not think so. That’s fine and your perogative and perspective. Doesn’t mean you’re right either.

My Mom prayed the Rosary daily for as long as I can recall. She honored Mary as Jesus’ Mother and taught me to do the same. I don’t know of any human being more Christian than my mother, in words, actions. She lived her faith. She was a true role model. You all can laugh and bash all you want and I find it sad for you all that can joke and demean those with such faith.

The hatred on these religious threads, from so called Christians, worries me. We share a commonality, Jesus as our Savior. Maybe it’s too easy to bash other Christians, it’s all the PC rage now, than to highlight our similarities, of which there are many. It’s really no wonder the secular world and Islam seems to have the advantage.

It’s not hatred, Twink. We disagree with some of the doctrines of the Catholic church but I do care about my Catholic friends. I’m married to a former Catholic.

I know people pray the Rosary. If it brings comfort, fine. If you think it will save you, then it’s not so fine. I’m sure your mother, and you, are devoted to Christ and your church. Nobody disputes that. A living example is the BEST example of a life hid in Christ. I admire that no matter what church we belong to. It’s the extra-Biblical dogma that divides us. If we stick to scripture and to Jesus, we have no problems with doctrine. God bless. Mary
