What is a deliverance prayer?
I picture something like: “Oh Lord, please don’t let that evil in-bred red-neck come back and do “that” to me again...”?
Well I hoped they helped that poor man who can’t access his family’s bank account unless he gets a check for $1,000 from some “beloved” one in America before they died peacefully. phhft

I believe in this instance they are referring to a deliverance from evil prayer. Lots of binding, hedges of protection, ministering angles, guardian angles, etc.
Noting my Catholic perspective, I would say that a deliverence prayer is to an exorcism what a visit to a chiropractor is to spinal surgery.
