Yum. mojitos. We planted some mint in our garden a few years ago after visiting Puerto Rico. We now have a patch of mint that measures about seven feet by five feet. Hola!

Back from the ABC store. Mint - ah! We're very high church about the Triple Crown at my house. So mint juleps with kentucky bourbon for the Derby, Ditto but with Maryland Rye for the Preakness, and Manhattans for the Belmont. But mint is where it's at.

Mint is a heavy feeder. We have two mint beds and about every other year we dig up one and fertilize (compost, mostly) the heck out of it. It seems to keep it nice.
